Security is a top priority on-site: the property is enclosed by a heavy-duty chainlink fence topped with barbed wire, monitored by 24-hour video surveillance with infrared imaging after dark, and accessible only through an activated gate code. Each unit is fitted with a metal latch built to accommodate tenants’ own padlocks (which Elgin Country Storage also sells on-site, for anyone who shows up without one).
Facility access runs daily from 6 am to 9 pm, with office hours Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm.
